Disable Annoying Shape Outlines (Target Path) in Photoshop

Long time, no post.  I am dusting off the blog to start capturing some random thoughts and tips again.

This is a long time frustration for me which is a simple fix.  When you create new vector objects in Photoshop you get a handy (or annoying) outline around the shape.  This is great if perhaps the shape is the same color as the background.  But if you want to see your composition as it is intended but are manipulating the shape layer, this is obnoxious.

Further, if you like me use CMD+H to hide Photoshop the standard shortcut won’t work.

So just head to View->Show->Target Path.
